Mapulani is an award winning song written by Namadingo released in the year 2020. this version was inspired by a young refugee guitarist ISRAEL KABONGO of DR Congo origin who is in Malawi at the Dzaleka Refugee camp in Dowa District. Namadingo and his audio producer Moshu took a trip to visit the camp as well as produce this version with Israel Kabongo. Israel and his family like most of the refugees in the camp speak Swahili hence the first verse translated to Swahili.
