UN Day 2024 Celebrated with Artistic Showcase at Malingunde Primary School


Malingunde Primary School marked #UNDay2024 with a vibrant commemoration highlighting 60 years of partnership with Malawi. The event featured a compelling artistic performance by the African Youth Artistic Poetry group from Dzaleka Refugee Camp, who captivated attendees with their poetic talents.



A significant highlight of the celebration was the exhibition by Umoja People with Disabilities Group and Disability Community Access. These refugee-led organizations proudly displayed artisan works created by approximately 80 individuals with disabilities, demonstrating their commitment to skill development and empowerment.


The event underscored the importance of inclusivity, artistic expression, and community support, reflecting the United Nations' collaboration and human dignity values.
