Dzaleka Health Center Receives Medical Supplies Worth Over MK 102 Million



Dzaleka Health Center clinical in charge, Henry Lali, has highlighted the urgent need for more medical drugs to adequately serve patients.


Speaking on Friday, Lali acknowledged the donation of medical supplies valued at 81,124.03 Canadian Dollars (approximately MK 102,064,056.15) by There is Hope, with support from Health Partners International of Canada and the International Association for Refugees in Canada.


Lali noted that the health center serves a large population, both Malawian and refugee communities, increasing the demand for medical services. He expressed gratitude to the donors, emphasizing that the supplies will help address critical shortages.


Anock Kapira, Executive Director of There is Hope, stated that supporting Dzaleka Health Center aligns with their mission to assist refugees and host communities.


Dzaleka Camp Manager, Elton Phulusa, also thanked the organisations for their support, calling for the proper utilisation of the donated supplies.
