Dzaleka Innovators Forum Launched to Drive Community Growth

Dzaleka Innovators Forum Coordinator, Japhet Chris Rugema, has called on residents to develop impactful innovations to gain external recognition and contribute to the camp’s development. Speaking at the forum’s launch on Monday, Rugema emphasized the need for collaboration in addressing youth challenges and finding sustainable solutions.

He told Yetu FM that the forum will serve as a platform for resource sharing, networking, and exploring growth opportunities. Echoing his sentiments, Roger Shamavu urged the government and UNHCR partners to support refugee-led initiatives, highlighting the community’s potential despite limited exposure.
