Inua Advocacy has provided clinical wound care supplies to Dzaleka Home-Based Care (HBC), a community organisation that supports refugees and other residents in Dzaleka Camp living with HIV/AIDS and chronic illnesses.
The supplies were directed to assist a patient who has been living with a chronic wound for over ten years. Due to financial challenges and a lack of access to transport, the patient has been unable to receive consistent medical treatment. The donated supplies aim to ease his condition and enable better at-home care.
Dzaleka HBC continues to offer frontline support where formal systems are limited. This contribution is part of a broader effort to strengthen community-based care models that respond directly to the needs of those most affected.
Inua Advocacy acknowledges the ongoing commitment of Dzaleka HBC and recognises the importance of supporting locally driven health initiatives in the camp.
