A group of 25 students on Tuesday completed a six‑month vocational training program in hairdressing and cosmetology, tailoring, and soap making, offered by Children Relief Services (CRS).
CRS Founder and Executive Director Roger Shamavu told Yetu FM that the training is part of the organization’s girl empowerment project. He emphasized that vocational skills serve as a practical tool for generating income, urging the graduates to make full use of the knowledge they gained through CRS.
Shamavu also reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting girls in the camp with professional skills that can help them become self‑reliant.
