Jorden Laurent Kananga, who once lived in Dzaleka, has begun preseason training with CD Leganés B Team in Spain for the 2025–2026 season.
Kananga and his family were resettled to Canada in 2016. Since then, he has developed into a promising soccer talent, now taking his skills to Europe.
His journey shows that life in a refugee camp is not a barrier—discipline and hard work can open doors to international opportunities.
Jorden is another example of a Dzaleka product succeeding on the global stage, inspiring young people both in Malawi and beyond.
