110 Learning Tablets Boost Digital Education at Fountain of Hope Malawi

Fountain of Hope Africa has announced the arrival of 110 additional learning tablets, expanding digital learning opportunities for students in its education programs in Dzaleka.

According to the organisation, the tablets were provided by Imagine Worldwide and will be used to support tablet classes focused on numeracy and literacy. The devices will be used by students at both Lilambwe Campus and the Camp Campus, during the organisation’s morning and afternoon learning programs.

The additional tablets will allow more students to participate in the digital learning sessions, which use educational software developed in partnership with onebillion. The program is designed to help children strengthen basic reading and mathematics skills through structured tablet-based lessons.

In its announcement, Fountain of Hope Africa said the support will help both refugee and host community children access technology-based learning opportunities.

Imagine Worldwide also highlighted the collaboration, noting that it partners with refugee-led organisations like Fountain of Hope Africa to implement tablet learning programs in community-run schools and initiatives in Dzaleka.

The new tablets will expand access to the organisation’s existing tablet sessions, allowing more children to participate in the literacy and numeracy programs delivered through the initiative.
