Camp Management highlighted WHH’s role as a key partner in maintaining access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services. During the visit, the Embassy team met with Water User Associations and other community groups involved in operating and managing water systems. Discussions focused on community‑led approaches, sustainability measures and the importance of local ownership.

The delegation also visited the Dzaleka football ground, where the contribution of sports to youth engagement and social cohesion was demonstrated.
At the There is Hope Training Centre, students from both refugee and Malawian communities presented examples of their practical training and outlined how the skills gained support future employment and self‑reliance.
The visit provided an overview of WHH’s ongoing work to strengthen essential services and community development initiatives in and around the camp.
