Livestock farmers in Dzaleka and nearby communities have welcomed the opening of a new Ziweto Agro-Vet shop, saying it will make veterinary medicines, animal feed and farming supplies easier to access.

The shop was officially opened at Dzaleka giving local farmers an alternative to travelling longer distances to purchase livestock products.

Pig farmer John Kwazulani said having veterinary products, animal feed and farming equipment available within the community could help farmers respond more quickly when animals need treatment and improve livestock production.

Ziweto Enterprise Sales and Marketing Officer Davie Bingo encouraged farmers to take proper care of their livestock, noting that good animal health is important for farmers seeking better returns from their livestock businesses.

The new outlet will serve farmers in Dzaleka and surrounding areas with veterinary medicines, farming products and other livestock supplies.

Ziweto Agro-Vet also said it will provide farmers with guidance on the correct use of veterinary products alongside the supplies available at the shop.
