UNHCR Enhances Law Enforcement Capabilities with Vehicle Donation

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has strengthened local law enforcement capabilities through a strategic vehicle donation to the Department of Immigration and Dowa Police. The contribution aims to boost operational efficiency and support community service.

Emphasising its commitment to partnership, UNHCR highlighted the donation as a demonstration of solidarity with the Malawian government. The two vehicles will enhance the mobility and response capabilities of immigration and police services.

This support underscores UNHCR's ongoing efforts to work collaboratively with local authorities in improving public service delivery and community safety.
